NSR-200 is a recording and streaming box with 2 inputs, about the size of your hand. Connect a camera and the presentation computer to produce a presenter-plus-slides picture, and record and stream at the same time. It suits small classrooms, training rooms and meeting rooms.
01Takes almost any signal
New equipment and old both connect.
Inputs include SDI, HDMI, DVI (VGA with an adaptor) and component / composite, and it also takes a USB camera or a network stream, so older cameras and computers remain usable. Both channels are 1080p: channel 1 takes HDMI, DVI, VGA, component, a USB camera or a network stream; channel 2 takes SDI, a USB camera or a network stream. USB cameras and network streams carry picture only, and must be connected before NSR-200 is switched on.

023 recordings at once
Two sources and the finished programme.
It records both inputs and the programme output together at up to 1080p 60fps, to a USB stick or external drive, and can upload automatically to FTP or a network drive. A dedicated video processor keeps it running smoothly through long sessions, and two streams can go out while it records.

03Presenter + slides
Side by side or picture-in-picture at one press.
Layouts include full screen, side by side and picture-in-picture, with the inset freely resizable. Up to 4 layers of text, pictures and date and time can be overlaid.

04Record and stream together
One box for both.
It streams over RTMP and also supports RTSP and HLS. Operate it locally with a mouse and keyboard, or manage it remotely from a browser. Audio can come from the HDMI or SDI signal, and RCA and 3.5 mm inputs take the room's sound system.

05How the sound connects
If the room has a PA system, take a feed from it.
Where a classroom or meeting room already has microphones and an amplifier, run a cable from the record output of the amplifier or mixer to NSR-200, and the sound the room has already processed is recorded too. Do not record the loudspeakers with a camera microphone: it picks up the echo and noise as well.

06One-press start
Press once to record or go live.
Dedicated record and stream buttons are on the unit. Once it is set up, a lesson or meeting starts with one press, with no computer and no software. Set-up is done from the on-screen menu or a web page, and RS-485 lets a control system operate it.

07Recording backup
USB drive or hard disk, plus off-site FTP backup.
Recordings go to a USB 3.0 flash drive or an external hard disk of up to 2 TB, and can be uploaded to FTP automatically for a copy elsewhere. Long recordings are split into files without interruption, and the oldest can be overwritten when the disk is full.

FAQ
How is NSR-200 different from NSR-400?
NSR-200 has 2 inputs and records 3 files at once (the 2 inputs plus the programme output), with SDI, HDMI, DVI and component/AV inputs. NSR-400 has 4 HDMI inputs, records 5 files at once and adds a quad-split layout.
Can NSR-200 take an older VGA computer or an analogue camera?
Yes. Its DVI input can be adapted to VGA, and it has component/AV inputs, so older computers and cameras can still be used.
Can NSR-200 stream to YouTube?
Yes. NSR-200 supports RTMP and can stream to YouTube or Facebook while recording at the same time.
